Kite Surfing onTarifa Beach -Written by Andrew
You might be forgiven for thinking that flying a kite and surfing don't really go together but kite surfing is one of the fastest growing sports and it's easy to see why after trying it out for the first time. This was definitely one of my favourite activities from the entire holiday.
It really got your adrenalin pumping! There is no doubt that this is a difficult sport, but with three days intensive training for beginners, there is loads of support to help you get the kite into the 'power zone' and control the kite while in the water, all while attempting to stand on a surf board.Although this is the number one place to go Kite Surfing, if you feel like chilling out as well, the beach is perfect for sunbathing and the local restaurants are great value for money. Our accommodation through Activitybreaks.com was really close to the beach and town so you have the best of both worlds.
Until next time, have a great Christmas and don't forget to watch the next instalment of Activitybreaks at 7.30pm on Thursday 28 December and catch up with us again after the show.If you have any further questions on any of the activities, you can email us by clicking on our message board and we'll get back to you as soon as we can!
